Eye area consultations in Auburn
The eye area is often where people first notice change. It is also one of the most anatomically delicate areas of the face, which makes individual assessment more important here than almost anywhere else.
A consultation is a conversation about what is bothering you and what, if anything, is appropriate.
Concerns people come to discuss
- Under-eye hollowness
- Puffiness
- Fine lines around the eyes
- Changes in the brow area
- A generally tired appearance
What happens at your consultation
Your consultation is with Precilla Sharp, a Registered Nurse. It takes about 30 minutes.
- We talk through what is bothering you and what you would like to change
- We review your medical history, medications and any previous treatments
- We assess the area and your facial structure
- We discuss whether any option is appropriate for you, and what it would involve
- If something is appropriate, we explain the process, the recovery, the risks and what is realistic
There is no obligation to book a treatment on the day.
Why this page does not recommend a treatment
Australian advertising rules limit what a clinic may say publicly about higher-risk cosmetic procedures, and for good reason: what suits one person's anatomy and medical history may be inappropriate for another's.
So this page does not name a treatment, recommend one, or tell you what you need. It tells you what the consultation covers. What is appropriate for you — if anything is — is something that can only be established after an individual assessment.
Risks and considerations
All cosmetic procedures carry risk. Depending on what is discussed, these may include bruising, swelling, tenderness, asymmetry, infection, an unsatisfactory result, and — less commonly — more serious complications.
Suitability depends on your medical history, your medications, your anatomy and your expectations. Some people are not suitable candidates, and some concerns are better addressed by a different kind of practitioner altogether.
The eye area carries specific anatomical considerations that make careful assessment essential. Some concerns around the eyes are not cosmetic at all — persistent puffiness or swelling can have medical causes, and where that seems likely we will suggest you see a GP rather than treat.
When a consultation may not be the right next step
If you have an eye condition, recent eye surgery, or persistent swelling of unclear cause, a consultation with a doctor comes first.
Some under-eye concerns — particularly those driven by bone structure or by genuine skin laxity — are not addressable with what we offer, and we would rather tell you that than take your money.
Questions people ask
Can anything be done about dark circles?
It depends entirely on what is causing them — pigment, thin skin showing vasculature, hollowing, or shadow. Those have different answers, and some have no cosmetic answer. Assessment first.
Is the eye area riskier than other areas?
It is anatomically delicate, which is why assessment and practitioner experience matter. Risks are discussed individually at consultation.
Is there a cost for the consultation?
Yes — a $50 consultation fee applies. It is fully redeemable against a treatment or a skincare product purchased on the same day.
